Emergency First Response (EFR) & Emergency O2 Provider
Emergency First Response (EFR)
The EFR course provides participants with essential life-saving skills. In emergency situations, knowing how to administer basic first aid can make a significant difference in stabilizing a person's condition until professional medical help arrives. The EFR course also teach individuals how to assess a situation quickly and respond effectively in the crucial moments before professional help is available. This immediate response can be critical in emergencies such as cardiac arrest, choking, or severe injuries.
Knowing what to do in an emergency situation builds confidence. EFR training equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to act decisively and effectively when faced with unexpected medical situations.
The EFR course includes training in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). These skills are particularly important in cases of cardiac emergencies, where immediate intervention can greatly improve the chances of survival.
EFR Training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Course participants learn simple to follow steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a nonstressful learning environment. All courses are supported by ELearning, and continue in the classroom where we practice real rescue skills.
